FAQ
Does my hybrid battery need to be replaced?
First sign that you need a hybrid battery is on many cars a triangle light with an exclamation point(!) will appear on the dash. From there you will need to receive your diagnostic code from a dealer, auto parts store, mechanic or simply get the code yourself with an OBD2 reader. Search the code or contact us and we will let you know what the code means. Previous to receiving a diagnostic trouble code, you may notice a decrease in gas mileage. Also may experience frequent fluctuations in the state of charge of the hybrid battery.
What is the typical hybrid battery life?
A hybrid battery has a life plan of around 7 years. Which can last longer or shorter depending on driving habits and weather conditions of your area.
Can I just replace individual cells to fix my battery?
This is not a good solution to fixing your battery. The repair will not last and is just a temporary fix. It may last for a month or two if lucky.
Will you deliver outside of your service area?
Depending on your location yes we will! There may be a small uncharge to pay for expenses. Just give us a call and we will see what we can work out.
Why should I buy a Remanufactured hybrid battery?
First reason is to save money. A new battery is going to run you around 2500-4000+ whenever you can purchase a reconditioned battery for a fraction of the price and get a battery that is just as good with the same warranty or better. Also is a way to reduce, reuse, and recycle. Instead of buying a new pack and disposing of your old one.
